Third Dutch Delta Congress 2012
The Dutch Delta Congress staged 1 November 2012 focused on the report about the Delta Programme for the year 2013, as presented september 2012 to parliament on Prinsjesdag [the state opening of parliament in the Netherlands]. A photo impression of the Congress.
Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven, chair of the Society, Security and Police Foundation (SMVP), opened the conference and talked about the fact that, for him, safety is not only a matter for the government but is rather a shared responsibility of the government, citizens and the business community.
In the spotlight
Delta commissioner Wim Kuijken turned the spotlight onto politician Ed Nijpels for his unwavering support of the Delta Programme.

Erwin van Lambaart (Niehe Media) spoke about methods to garner sympathy and passion for a large project like the Delta Programme among the public at large.
Young people and the Delta Programme
