The Staff of the Delta Programme Commissioner is responsible for the processing of personal data as reflected in this privacy statement.

Personal data processed by us

The Staff of the Delta Programme Commissioner processes your personal data because you are using our services and/or because you have provided such data to us. Below is a list of the personal data processed by us:

  • First and last name;
  • Organisation;
  • Position;
  • Telephone number;
  • Email address;
  • Other personal data that you have actively provided, for example, through correspondence and over the telephone.

Purpose for and basis on which we process personal data

The Staff of the Delta Programme Commissioner processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To be able to email or telephone you if such is necessary to answer your question or carry out your request;
  • To be able to register your subscription to our newsletter;
  • To notify you of the publication of a new Delta Programme;
  • To be able to carry out your request for information on the Delta Viewer;
  • To inform you about the National Delta Conference.

Time frame for our storage of personal data

The Staff of the Delta Programme Commissioner will only keep your personal data for as long as is strictly necessary for the realisation of the purposes for which your data is collected.

Protection of personal data

The Staff of the Delta Programme Commissioner takes the protection of your data seriously and has appropriate measures in place to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and improper modification.

Sharing personal data with third parties

The Staff of the Delta Programme Commissioner will not sell your data to third parties and will only provide such data if so required for the implementation of our agreement with you or to comply with a statutory obligation. We will conclude a data processor agreement with companies we have commissioned to process your data, in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality regarding your data. The Staff of the Delta Programme Commissioner will remain responsible for all such processing.

Viewing, modifying, or deleting data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw your consent regarding the data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by the Staff of the Delta Programme Commissioner and you have the right to data transferability. This means that you may submit a request for us to forward the personal data stored in a computer file to you or to another organisation stated by you.
