Organisation 

Since 2014, the provincial and municipal authorities, water authorities, safety regions, the national government and the business community in the region have been working on the implementation of the preferred strategy for the Rhine Estuary-Drecht Towns region.  

Regional consultations for the Rhine Estuary-Drecht Towns Delta Programme 

It was decided to organise regional consultations in the Rhine Estuary-Drecht Towns region. The authorities also organise the professional and substantive support. The main tasks involve the implementation and further elaboration of the delta decision and preferred strategy, informing the Delta Commissioner about progress and submitting recommendations about the annual proposal for the Delta Programme.

The programme team of the Rhine Estuary-Drecht Towns Delta Programme consists of staff from the relevant government authorities in the region. Together, they support the implementation of the preferred strategy for the Rhine Estuary-Drecht Towns Delta Programme.
