Guide includes special feature on the Delta Programme
On 30 May 2013, the Delta Commissioner presented the new Kust&Zee Gids (Coast & Sea Guide) to Hans Weber, Provincial Executive Councillor of Zuid-Holland, and Marnix Norder, member of the Municipal Executive of The Hague. This edition of the guide contains a special feature on the Delta Programme.
Wim Kuijken presented the guide at the Kustweken, a travelling exhibition and info event focusing on the coast. After the presentation, the Delta Commissioner participated in a debate with Hans Weber, Marnix Norder, other administrators who were in attendance, and stakeholders. The topic of the debate was how the varied coast can retain its ecological and economic value and attractiveness through the approach to coastal strengthening.
The Kust&Zee Gids (200,000 copies printed) is available at VVV Tourist Offices and tourist attractions along the coast. It will soon be available on the Kust & Zee website.
