Dolf Kern

Dolf Kern joined the staff of the Delta Programme Commissioner on 1 September 2020. He is the coordinating consultant for the Freshwater Supply sub-programme and for the regional delta strategies. The regional delta strategies are focused on enhancing interconnection within the Delta Programme, on linkage with societal taskings, and on implementation in spatial planning. He also bears responsibility for coordination with the Physical Environment Consultative Body.

Dolf previously held the position of strategic consultant for freshwater supply, waterlogging, soil subsidence and spatial adaptation at the Rijnland district water control board. He was already closely involved in several sub-programmes of the Delta Programme on behalf of the regional authorities and the Association of Dutch Regional Water Authorities.
