Marlies Veenstra joined the Delta Programme Commissioner’s staff in September 2012. She holds the position of General Secretary. In this capacity, she is concerned with information provision and the coordination of the annual proposal for the Delta Programme as well as the related decision-making process. Ms Veenstra previously worked for the Dutch Forestry Commission as an Office Management Team Leader and the then Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, where she was responsible for the topics of waste and raw materials.
